Episode 11: What it’s like to be an ADHD couple

This week we unpack what it’s like to be in a relationship where BOTH people are ADHDers. We talk about the pitfalls and challenges, but also the fun stuff… and maybe even a few tips thrown in (even though we’re definitely NOT relationship coaches or counsellors!).

Themes discussed in this episode include:

  • Chemistry and attraction, and why ADHDers are often drawn to each other.

  • Why arguments can escalate quickly, and dealing with emotional regulation issues.

  • Rejection sensitivity dysphoria, and why it can cause issues in relationships.

  • Choosing to go childfree.

  • The boring stuff (ugh - housework and chores!).

  • The highlights of being an ADHD couple.

If you’re in a relationship where both partners are ADHDers, this episode is a MUST. (Oh - and if you’re in a relationship where your partner is neurotypical, maybe play this for them, heehee…)
